Mestalla Stadium Location: How to Get There by Subway and Bus

Street parking near Mestalla is very limited, especially on match days. It's best to book a space in advance at a nearby public car park, such as Aparcamiento Mestalla–Primado Reig or Parking Severo Ochoa, both a short walk from the stadium. On non-match days, when the tours run, driving is much easier.

Valencia's EMT buses cover the whole city, making them a flexible option from the beach or the outskirts. Lines 10, 32, 71 and 80 stop within a short walk of the stadium, along Avenida de Aragón and Avenida de Blasco Ibáñez.

The metro is the quickest way from the city center or the airport. Aragó station (Lines 5 and 7) is practically on the stadium's doorstep, and Line 5 runs directly from the airport. Alternatively, take Line 3 to Facultats, about a five-minute walk away. It's also the most reliable way to beat match-day traffic.

Estació del Nord is in the heart of Valencia, about 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the stadium. Take the metro from Xàtiva station, right outside, on Line 5 to Aragó in under 15 minutes, or take a taxi. If you arrive by high-speed train at Joaquín Sorolla station, it's a short walk to Xàtiva metro.

Valencia is flat and bike-friendly, so why not cycle to the home of the Bats? Bike lanes cover the city, and you can rent a Valenbisi bike-share bike, with docking stations near the stadium. It's eco-friendly, cheap and a great way to see the city.

For the full local experience, walk to Mestalla. It's a 25–30 minute stroll from the Old Town (Ciutat Vella) and the Cathedral, crossing the Turia Gardens, the old riverbed turned park, and continuing along wide avenues to the stadium. On match days, the walk fills with thousands of fans and a buzzing atmosphere.
