Good to Know Before Visiting Oceanogràfic València

Buying tickets online in advance is highly recommended to avoid queues at the ticket office and guarantee entry at busy times.

Plan at least four to five hours to see all the habitats and the Dolphinarium.

Dolphinarium presentations are included in your ticket. Check the day’s schedule when you arrive and get there 30 minutes early to secure a seat.

Wear comfortable shoes: the site covers 110,000 square metres, with plenty of walking between habitats.

Photography is allowed, but flash, selfie sticks and underwater cameras are not permitted, to protect the animals.

Leaving and re-entering on the same day is only allowed in certain cases, such as with a combined ticket for the Hemisfèric or Museu de les Ciències. Ask at the Information Point for conditions.

If you plan to dine at the Submarino Restaurant, booking ahead is recommended given its popularity.

Outside food is not permitted inside the aquarium, but there are six restaurants and cafés on site.

Low Season: Sunday to Friday until 6 PM; Saturdays until 8 PM.

Mid-Season: Usually extended until 8 PM or 9 PM.

High Season (Summer and holidays): Extended evening hours, until as late as 10 PM on some dates. Some holidays have shorter hours.

The ticket office closes one hour before the park closes, and some habitats, such as the aviary, may close shortly before the main gates.
