BIOPARC Valencia is at the western end of the Turia Garden, inside Parque de Cabecera, and is easy to reach from the city center by public transport, bike, car or on foot.

By Public Transport

The park is well connected to Valencia's public transport network.

Metro: Lines 3, 5 and 9 stop at Nou d’Octubre, about a 10-minute walk from the park entrance.

Bus: EMT lines 98 and 99 stop at the park entrance, lines 73 and 95 stop at the Nou d’Octubre bridge, and line 67 also serves the area. Line 95 runs along the old Turia riverbed, linking the City of Arts and Sciences with BIOPARC.

By Bicycle

Valencia has an extensive network of cycle lanes, including the scenic route through the Turia Garden.

Turia Garden Path: Ride the length of the Turia Garden to Parque de Cabecera, where BIOPARC is located.

Valenbisi: Valenbisi bike-share stations are close to the park, and BIOPARC has its own bicycle parking.

By Car

The park is easy to reach by car and has its own car park.

Access: Arrive via Avenida Pío Baroja, Avenida Manuel de Falla or the Nou d’Octubre bridge. The private car park (maximum vehicle height 2.10 m) charges a maximum of €7 per day.

On Foot

From the Campanar or Nou Moles neighborhoods, the park is an easy walk. You can also follow the 9-kilometer Turia Garden, which leads straight to the park, away from city traffic.

BIOPARC Valencia offers the essential services for a comfortable visit.

Restrooms are located across the habitat zones, many with baby-changing facilities.

Families can rent strollers at the main entrance, and automated lockers let you store bags for the day.

A first-aid station is staffed during opening hours to handle minor incidents.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the main plaza and restaurant areas.

Shaded rest areas and water fountains help you cope with the Mediterranean heat, especially in summer. Power-bank rental stations are at the Information Point, the amphitheater entrance and the shop.

BIOPARC Valencia is designed to be accessible, so visitors with reduced mobility or sensory needs can enjoy the full zoo-immersion experience.

Main pathways are wide, paved and mostly flat, suitable for manual and electric wheelchairs.

Where the terrain changes level, such as the entrance bridge or between African habitats, gentle ramps are provided alongside stairs.

A limited number of manual wheelchairs can be requested at the information desk on arrival, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accessible restrooms are clearly marked throughout the park.

The amphitheater has designated spaces for wheelchair users and their companions during the bird and mammal exhibition.

Natural sounds and varied textures make the park engaging for visitors with visual impairments or sensory sensitivities.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome with valid documentation, although they cannot enter the Madagascar habitat.

Tactile signage and high-contrast typography help visitors find their way around.

The BIOPARC shop, at the park exit, offers more than 400 m² of products themed on African wildlife and conservation.

You'll find plush animals, clothing and stationery, as well as handcrafted pieces from local artisans and fair-trade African cooperatives.

Every purchase helps the BIOPARC Foundation support international projects to protect endangered species.

The shop can also be reached from the outside plaza, so you can browse without a park ticket.
